Sofistafunk, The Original Skirt Company, is a design house based in Verona, NJ, owned by designer Arlinda McIntosh. Sofistafunk is known for their unique collection of ‘bottom frocks’ (skirts) for women and children. Sofistafunk’s desgins are influenced by women’s fashions of the Victorian era of the 19th century, particularly women’s gowns with narrow sloping shoulders, low pointed waists, and bell-shaped skirts.
